Where we work
From the isolated high mountain valleys of Tajikistan to the drought-affected
areas of India, from the densely populated flood plains of Bangladesh to the
fragile coastal zone of Mozambique, AFKC programs operate in some of the poorest
and most remote areas of the world.
The Foundation focuses on the regions of Eastern Africa and Central and South
Asia - in countries where it has experience and expertise and where highly
skilled local staff can help monitor progress and ensure that results are
achieved and that resources are used effectively.
At the moment, AKFC operates in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan,
Bangladesh, India, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and Uganda.
