IN MY LIFETIME: A global story of hope, change and possibility

AKFC invites you to take a personal journey through Canada’s role in international development, exploring what it means to improve the health of mothers and children in parts of Africa and Asia.
In April 2014, AKFC hosted a breakfast series across Canada called In My Lifetime. We shared five personal stories, sparking a dialogue with Canadians about the importance of international development and how investing in women and children is key to solving global poverty.
Each storyteller came from a different generation and offered a different perspective. The common thread was the belief that change is possible.
