Despite great strides in recent years, poverty, insecurity, natural disasters and gender-based barriers keep millions of people from having enough to eat. Ms. Elisabeth Rasmusson, Assistant Executive Director of the World Food Programme, held a conversation on topics from the current humanitarian crises in the Philippines and Syria, to future prospects for eradicating hunger as part of the post-2015 development agenda.
