On October 14, 2017 AKFC, Ottawa 2017, Just Food, and the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard welcomed over 400 visitors to the Just Food Farm to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary and the importance of good food, both locally and globally. The fall festivities included the official unveiling of a new community pavilion, Through the Rye – the winner of the Growing Our Community student design competition.
