October 12, 2016 – In 2017, Canada will celebrate the 150th anniversary of Confederation. Across the country, communities will come together to mark this milestone.
As part of Canada’s 150th celebrations, Together: An exhibition on global development will be travelling across the country, sparking discussions on how Canadians are driving a more peaceful, prosperous, and pluralist world.
Now we need your help! What events or venues do you think the exhibition should visit in 2017?
Events can be in urban centres or rural communities across Canada. Examples of venues include: Canada 150 events, festivals and fairs, high schools, conferences, museums and galleries, farmers markets, etc. Events should have significant attendance that reflects and celebrates Canada’s strengths such as community, innovation, global leadership, and pluralism.
