In Pakistan, women face significant barriers to entering the workforce, such as lack of access to education, training, and financial support.
Patriarchal social and cultural norms also prevent many women from working outside the home. Ainee is the owner of three businesses in northern Pakistan. Her businesses provide valuable services to her community, and create many employment opportunities. At her salon, she also offers mentorship and training for women to learn and build their skills.
