These challenges constitute a transformative shift of the current development paradigm based on addressing poverty in low-income countries, forcing traditional donor countries, CSOs and NGOs to re-think their development strategies.

Roshan: Canada’s Legacy in Afghanistan

Some Afghans actually had to walk to a neighbouring country to make a phone call. Today, Roshan’s 1,000 towers reach more than six million subscribers.
